Monnataz has been created as an online company with our existing business that has been involved in retailing and supplying of school clothes, school bags and accessories since 1964.
We are a family business where best service and quality products are high on our priority list. Our daughter Monique joined the business and that is where the online inspiration started.
Since my daughter joined us, this made us a 3rd generation business. She has been involved in the business full-time since 2016.
The online side of the business (School bags only) is a new initiative from her side, with her parent’s “know how” to assist her. The business was taken over from my parents, and we have been involved full-time since 1989. Online sales are the future, and we are following the trend. We are constantly looking for ways where we can improve our service to the public. This online business is just as important to us, as our existing business that is in its 55th Year this year.
We are offering two brands of bags. With all the years of experience, we supply Totem and Boomerang School bags. Like I said “Quality and service”.
We have been selling Totem bags from the early days of their existence. The sales just grew and grew. The brand name just got bigger and bigger and is well known in the industry. Quality is written all over the product. And if you had a Totem bag, you will know what I am talking about. The Totem backpacks are an ergonomic product that is designed to support the back. The bags are constantly upgraded and improved as time goes by. Not to mention all the nice graphics the bags come in. These bags come in 3 styles. Hard body, Street and Style.
We have been selling the Boomerang range for decades. The Trolley bags are doing very well in the market and volumes of them get sold every year. There are different sizes and ranges. (Rip stop and Melange). Boomerang is a well known brand in the market and the after sales service of the company is excellent. Boomerang upgrades their bags on a regular basis, and it is just getting better and better. Just look at their new hard base Trolley bag.
